We had an especially fun St. Patricks' Day this year. We did some stuff that we haven't done in the past to spruce up the holiday since it was going to be a busy day without a lot of time for family togetherness.
This year we had a mischievous little leprechaun visit us in the wee hours o' the mornin'. ;)
He put green candies in our shoes...
stacked up all the chairs in the middle of our living room...
made some candy art for us...
and left us a little gift in the bathroom....
Ew. Gross little leprechaun. ;)
He also turned our milk and eggs green. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of that.
The kids were thrilled about it the whole thing. It was so priceless waking up to Vincent saying "Whoa, Mommy! Daddy! The chairs are all wacky!" Haha. I wish I had pictures of the kids discovering it all and of their cute green outfits but unfortunately we were really busy that day and once the morning came it was go-go-go until the kids were already in bed. I could kick myself for not remembering to snap more pictures! But it was fun, and I think this might be a new annual tradition. So maybe next year I will get those darn photos.
